Abstract
‘Museum San’ consists of two buildings for paper museums and two buildings for art museums, totaling four buildings. To accommodate various exhibitions, two floors are open and the diversity of exhibition spaces is pursued. Additionally, natural stones from the surrounding site are used as architectural finishes. Tadao Ando designed "Museum San" with the hope that visitors would rediscover the nature, landscape, and culture of Korea. The lighting of ‘Museum San’ is designed to minimize the exposure of lighting fixtures in accordance with the architect's intention, harmonizing with the finishes, forms, and surrounding environment. May the light and illumination accompany the healing process offered by Tadao Ando.
